The dance music piece Now now was commissioned by the Reykjavík Dance Festival and the Modern music series Jaðarber and Reykjavík Museum of Art.
The work is a crossover between various art forms: Visual arts, music, dance and gymnastics.
A woman came up to me and said: I was in Paris the other day and had a dream about you. It was a very strange dream, it was like we were oating around and I saw a very mysterious multi coloured form, ...it was almost like a sculpture which oats, and then there were people there, moving. I heard mysterious sounds and I also started to hear voices...She described it better for me, she said it reminded her of a carnival or something like that...I showed her my sketch book...and found out that she had sneaked into it during the night...so she had somehow gotten into my sketch book!
The woman is an art theorist that is very interested in the working process of the artist, so interested that she can break into sketch books during the night. It seams her break in was a success, since the work was premiered on the 8th of September and it resembles her description!
